Mn Bara Hallah Hallah, Mn Jowa Ya‘lam Allah draws on a popular saying used to describe the distance between outward appearance and what remains concealed within. The work takes the form of an inviting, almost decorative object, while a preserved mouse is embedded inside it. This contrast between attraction and discomfort reflects on the ways appearances can conceal what is unsettling, unwanted, or difficult to confront.
