JULOOS is an installation art project that focuses on the idea of sitting on the ground and connecting with one's roots. As an artist raised in an Arab family, I grew up with the tradition of having a room in the house where we always sit on the floor. This room is always kept clean, and shoes are not allowed inside, making the floor a central and respected part of our daily life.In this artwork, I wanted to elevate the traditional Palestinian tiles—literally and symbolically—by creating a space where people can sit on them and listen to stories about their heritage. The project was developed in two parts. The first was a 3D model that later became an interactive piece in the exhibition, where visitors began rearranging the tiles and connecting the lines, transforming it into a participatory experience.
